1 tbsp maple syrup,
1 ½ cups of milk,
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon stick
2 shots of espresso
cinnamon sticks for decoration
Instructions
Using a heavy bottom saucepan heat your milk, once hot then turn your heat to a simmer and add your coconut chai tea bags.
Simmer for 5 minutes for the tea to infuse the milk full of lovely chai flavour, then remove the tea bags.
With the chai tea still on the heat add the vanilla, maple syrup and cinnamon to your pan making sure it’s all mixed together.
Meanwhile, make your espresso coffee in your coffee maker.
Add 1 shot of espresso to the bottom of each glass.
Removing your chai tea from the heat, froth your milk using a coffee frother or a handheld blender.
Tip your glass at an angle and slowly pour your frothy chai tea over the top of the espresso, this will give you that foamy latte look.
Top with a small cinnamon stick and enjoy.
