We source our teas from some of the most established tea gardens in India, each of which sits in a unique region of the country, rich in natural beauty and culture. Single estate teas benefit from the mix of soil and climate in their region, and we’ve picked the very best for your cup.
Known as the champagne of teas, our deliciously delicate and citrusy Darjeeling tea is grown on the foothills of the Himalayas. Sourced from the Badamtam tea garden, only a small amount of this medium bodied and highly aromatic tea is grown each year.
Our malty and strong single-estate Assam tea is sourced from the Margherita tea gardens, located in the low-lying plains of the Brahmaputra River delta. Being grown at low levels gives Assam tea a full-bodied, malty taste and a lovely deep coloured liquor.
A traditional drink from the Kashmir region of India, Kahwa is an aromatic green tea blended with cinnamon and rose petals for a hint of sweetness.
Our deliciously dark and aromatic Nilgiri is grown high in the Nilgiri hills in the most southern part of India. Sourced from the Craigmore tea garden nestled at an elevation of 5,500 feet, the mix of soil and climate provides the perfect conditions for some of the world’s finest teas.
Each of our Regional Teas has a fascinating backstory and is ready to whisk you away on an adventure. Not sure which tea you should try? Take our quiz to find out.
Chai is a daily tradition which has been enjoyed for centuries in India and each family has its own recipe. Made on the stovetop with simmering milk, tea and spices and poured into glasses or kulhad (clay cups), a thick and creamy cup of chai is the best way to start the day, to share with friends and family, or to enjoy an afternoon tea break.
Masala Chai is the traditional spiced chai taking the heat and sweetness of cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger, black pepper, and anise. Using his family recipe, our master blender has taken these amazing spices and the finest quality Assam tea to create a truly authentically Indian chai experience. Inspired by aromatic Indian spices and flavours he has also created sweet cardamom chai, spicy ginger chai, warming turmeric chai, and indulgent coconut chai. Each Tea India chai honours the traditions that go along with a cup of tea: family, home, heritage, and comfort.
